I really do live to paint and I have learned so much over the years that I don’t feel so anxious when I work now.
When I started out it was not that hard but then as I better understood what I was doing and what I really wanted to accomplish it became very hard.
Lots of frustration and destroyed paintings.
Now it is a great experience and I continue to learn a little more with each painting.
My latest one started talking to me on the second layer and now I know how to finish it. Always an exciting journey!

Beautiful! I love your mountain view paintings most. What’s the difference between the impressionist and the expressionist? Am learning.

Thank you so much! For the most part, Impressionists sought to recreate the colors of nature before the light changed. Expressionists sought to use color to express their emotions. Lot more complicated than that but that is a start.
