So pleased that a yoga friend decided to try out Line Dancing today! I tell people all the time about how great Line Dancing is. We had a big class today with two new students that did great. Both of them had Line Danced before so they picked up on the steps and did well. Both of them will be back!
Exercise doesn’t have to be a dull experience. Dancing is a great way to keep fit Now, if someone would just open another Skating Rink I would be completely happy! So sorry the terrific one we had closed. I don’t have time to go to Roanoke so I hung up my skates.
Oh well, dancing and yoga keep me going!

Life with The Word and Bird Man – Clyde Kessler
Clyde and I have been having a hard time with itching. He thinks it is because of the long winter. He is using cocoanut butter and I am using some salve that I like. I don’t like smelling like an Almond Joy bar. Anyway, I have so much itching on my abdomen that I am wondering if the material used in yoga pants may be the problem.
I just looked up namaste and there are a lot of different meanings. I thought it was like saying peace to someone. Actually most sources say someone is bowing to the spiritual in the person they are saying namaste to.
Clyde said if that is true then he doesn’t think those pants have namaste threads. There is nothing peaceful or respectful in pants that make you scratch.
Maybe I should find some other pants.
I would greatly appreciate a Google review if you like my work! Here is the link!
I am so pleased that my Line Dancing teacher has started class again! She has been very ill with Lyme disease and is still on pain medication but we are back on the floor! I love to dance and it is great exercise. She always gives us quite a work out! Looking forward to taking class every week!

Tuesday there were about 30 vultures at the end of our street picking through trash. I told Clyde about it and asked he is had a funny about vultures for my blog. He has been asked to speak for the vultures since people want to send them away. They are firing rockets to try to get them to leave. Where are they supposed to go?
Clyde hates to get in the middle of this because people that support the vultures become his good friend and those that don’t become his enemy. There is no middle ground. So he said he could not come up with a funny.
Vulture humor doesn’t fly with me. He did it anyway!
Also saw a cute vulture joke. Keep calm and carrion. I hope we can carrion here and not send them packing.
If you like my work but don’t have any more room on your walls be sure to check out my paintings on just about anything but the kitchen sink on

I am missing Line Dancing Lately. My teacher has Lyme disease and she isn’t feeling well enough to hold class so I am dancing in my living room.
I do that a lot anyway, but now it is the only Line Dancing I do. I saw a cute joke about Line Dancing that I told Clyde about to see if he could add something funny to it.
Don’t feel bad if you feel like you are always taking one step forward and two steps backward. Congratulations! You just learned how to Country Line Dance!
Clyde said that would be bad news if you were on a cliff. I told him that doesn’t work since no one would do that. He said a bird watcher would.
Look! I can’t quite get a good look at that hawk. Whoops!
Clyde has had some weird accidents while bird watching but I don’t see him ever falling off a cliff. Oh well. That was the best he could come up with today so I will laugh anyway!
Need to practice some Line Dances for Saturday. We performed this last Saturday and now we will be doing it again this week. Yikes! We did well . The audience was great! I have to travel to Pulaski for class but the class may be moving to Radford soon. Oh yes. That would be great!

I am still looking for my glasses. I bought a chain and attached it to the pair I keep in the kitchen. I keep those on top of the fridge. It is against the law for them to be put anywhere else. Well, I broke the law and was just about ready to give up when they showed up on my dresser.
I told Clyde. you know you are hopeless with glasses when you lose the one with the chain attached. Maybe I should put them on in the morning and not take them off until bed time. Yikes! I hate reading glasses but I can’t do without them.
Just saw a cute joke about eye exams. Santa Claus is in the chair. The opthmalogist tells Santa he doesn’t care if he puts him on his naughty list, he is still going to dilate his eyes.
Looking forward to performing at the Draper Mercantile Tomorrow! Line Dancing is the greatest way to stay in shape and we like to bring it to others to celebrate the Holiday Season! Come on out and see us!

Over the years I have thought about that old saying that opposites attract and wondered how Clyde and I got together. We are so much alike. I finally realized that we are different in one way. I am painfully shy and have to put on an act when I am around others so I can talk. He is not the least bit shy.
I won’t go into all the ways that we are alike except one. Even though I can organize stuff and he couldn’t organize a pair of shoe laces, we are complete slobs in the way we dress and handle food.
Anxious to get to work today but Tuesdays are tough so I am always very tired on Wednesdays. I wish Yoga and Line Dance weren’t on the same day but I love them both so I don’t miss class unless I have to. We have a performance at The Draper Mercantile this Saturday at 10:00! Come on out and see us do our thing!

Tuesdays we get take out from a great Chinese restaurant that is fantastic at cooking broccoli. I don’t know what they do but other restaurants don’t compare!
Once in a while it isn’t great but sometimes the broccoli in the stores is a little bitter so there isn’t much they can do about that.
Clyde said maybe it had a hard life and that is why it is bitter.
Argh! It is a good thing I love puns or my poet husband would have to write himself into a corner and stay there.
Also, The Blue Ridge Discovery Group is gearing up for better weather. Here is the latest, great event for children and adults!
March 17th 7pm – 8pm
