Very proud of my latest wildflower painting! The colors and shapes are more vivid than previous wildflower paintings. I didn’t hold back at all.

I think I will do one or two more from this wildflower patch and then move on. So glad I took some files of this patch. It was in someone’s backyard and has been mowed down. I hate to see that happen and gladly preserve them in a painting.

I will have it up in my portfolio soon. I am putting the finishing touches on it now. Real pleased with my latest fantasy lily demo youtube below. Be sure to check it out.

Really into wildflowers right now. My latest wildflower oil painting is coming along and this week’s Youtube is a small wildflower painting that could be a detail of my large one but it is in acrylics and not as complex.

Wildflowers seem to dance to me. I talk about that in my Youtube. My most popular wildflower painting is Natural Rhythm. The way the flowers wind in and out of the space has always fascinated me.

I am really getting into many different types of paintings on Youtube and I love the comments I get! Such a great audience and I am so much more comfortable now then when I started posting demos. I have a lot of fun with painting and chatting at the same time.

Always great to sell original mountain paintings and prints. This time a great North Carolina patron bought a large print of The Great Smoky mountains.

Not much to talk about today. My latest wildflower painting is coming along and I haven’t injured myself lately. Yea!

I am so glad to sell another print of The Lodge at The Peaks of Otter to a great Georgia patron. I have always been fascinated by architecture and took many architecture classes when I was studying for my MFA in Painting and Printmaking.

I have many paintings that include buildings and homes. Many of them no longer exist so I am especially pleased that I preserved them in paint.

The Peaks of Otter is such a great part of The Blue Ridge Parkway which is a small strip of mountains in Virginia and North Carolina. I have included other paintings from this beautiful mountain range in this post. Check them out!

So glad my eye doesn’t look like someone clobbered me anymore. It certainly took a long time clear up. Now I can get back to all of my activities.

One thing I will not do is lift something that causes too much strain. That is when I get this problem. Both times in my right eye. I was able to hang two small paintings today that are very light. Most of my paintings are a few pounds up to around ten but I have a few that are heavier.

Anyway, I am so pleased to be on another wildflower painting! I love to paint intricate florals that have leaves and stems running through out the scene.

So pleased to sell another print of Beach Houses at Pawleys Island! Glad my shore scenes are so popular. This one is a favorite that has a great home. Prints are always available.
