You know you are tired when you are holding the mouse with one hand and propping up your head with the other hand. I am finally back to my latest wildflower painting and I have completed the second stage. One more to go.

My husband is still not able to help out so I am running around in circles trying to get every thing done. Oh well, like I always say, too busy is better than not having enough to do. I have absolutely have no idea what it would be like to not have much to do.

I am working at getting more attention to the Wix website but not having much success so far but I am a very impatient person so I will forge ahead. I am blogging there every day and the traffic has increased some.

So glad my husband is doing better and the doctor is pretty sure he knows how to get him back to normal but I think we are in for a few more months of illness. He got out yesterday and a friend took him to check out the New River for a while. I hate to see a dedicated naturalist home bound. Maybe in June things will be back to normal.

I am really pressed for time today so I am going to leave the artwork up from the last post and just change the Youtube. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

I am spread so thin over the internet and getting worn out with posts to I am going to work harder on my Wix website to get more attention for my work. I am going to try to post every day or every other day.

My husband is improving but there is still quite a ways to go and he may have to have another procedure done that requires him to be put under. That always worries me but we will get through it. I can’t seem to get back to my painting which is upsetting. I hope to get to the second stage soon.

The weather is beautiful and we have some gorgeous flowering trees in our year right now that put me in mind of my Magenta Dream which is a popular painting of the butterfly bush outside my studio window.

Well, not surprised. Along with pain, mild fever, edema, and a sinus infection I had to at least get something from Clyde so I got the sinus infection.

I am having such a hard time getting to my work but I continue to be as upbeat as possible. It is amazing how many tissues one goes through with sinus congestion.

So glad Clyde does not have a fever anymore and his eyes are no longer red but his feet and calves are so swollen. One of my son’s friends use to tease him and call him Big Foot. Well, he certainly has the feet for that now. We are laughing about that one.

Hope to get back to painting soon. Anyway, I am pleased that a London magazine, Roots, has chosen my painting Lighting The Way for the cover of its fall issue! I have had a number of my paintings licensed for publications. Glad to add another one!

Too Many ER visits

Yikes! Two trips to the ER last week and now Clyde can’t seem to get rid of a low grade fever so back to the Doctor’s office we go.

The surgery was February 4th and he is still a long ways from recovery. Another surgery is scheduled for April 20th.

Now I see why people put off hernia surgery. Some people have such a hard time getting back to normal. Oh well. We will get through this.

So hard for me to attend to my computer chores, housework, and Clyde but that is the way it goes. If I ever get back to my latest painting it will be a miracle.
