Having a problem with another muscle that is determined to ruin my days and keep me from working.

Yesterday I vegetated and watch a movie I would never watch if I weren’t determined to take it easy.

Hoping to get out of the vegetable patch today but so far I am quite sore.

Oh well. There is always a movie to cheer me up.

I am in a book study so I want to start the reading of a great new book.

I am not lazy.

As I have mentioned many times I am a workaholic but I am determined today to be lazy and not try to get a lot of things done.

I am taking this Sunday off, or at least the afternoon and evening. I have already played the piano for the church service and I am going to do a little computer work.

Don’t know if I can do it but it is worth a try.

Any workaholics out there know what I am talking about.

Here we are with a plaque that just won’t quit. I know so many people that have gotten Covid. My mother-in-law died from it.

There are a lot of people in this country AND in Congress that do not want Separation of Church and State. They want people to believe what they believe or else. What does that remind you of?

I wish we would all consider History to be our most important subject and then maybe we would not repeat the errors over and over again.

Time for some positive thoughts on a Saturday. It is a beautiful day here.

Super tired today but that is because I got more done yesterday than I usually get done on a Thursday so as I pull myself around the house I am singing.

I love music. I may not have a great voice but it isn’t that bad. Let’s see what I can get done today.

My goal of finally straightening out our new house after a lot of set backs seems possible.

I can see that end post!

Still waiting on news of my legal problem. If I don’t get a text or phone call soon I will call and see what is going on.

Clyde was thinking about all the problems we face as adults and maybe there should be a course in High School called Practical Existence.

It could include computer problems, household problems, legal problems, etc.

Sounds good to me.

Today I have a legal matter that I hope is resolved.

Not getting into details but I have my fingers crossed that all goes well.

My mother was 96 when she passed away. How many people can say that their parents lived to be that old?

Every day I see obituaries of people younger than me passing on.

This is the anniversary of her passing and I wish we could talk on the phone about music.

She was a great pianist and I was flattered that she always wanted me to play when I visited her.

Last night I was watching a fantastic opera on PBS. It was Agrippina and, of course, I thought of my Mom who passed away four years ago.

She was a great pianist but she did not like opera. She said it was a controlled yell.

Still don’t agree at all. Those singer’s voices were fantastic! They sounded like they were riding a beautiful wave of sound.

My mother liked to quote Shakespeare and often said, “To each his own”.

Opera is definitely one of the art forms I love that is not everyone’s cup of tea.

I live to paint but it is a discipline and a lot of work. I have learned that when it is laborious the painting is going down the tubes. There is a fine line between working and laboring on a painting for me.

That was happening to my latest one and then it turned around and I want to work on it.

Tricky profession, but like Bugs Bunny once said after wondering why he liked carrots so much, I love them! Lunch time!

Well, I have had lunch and now it is smelly oil paint time!
