I know. Another complaint about the class that has done wonderful things for my body. Actually, this time it is not a complaint.

As always, I was cussing softly to myself as my body strained to do what the teacher said to do. I cuss softly in case she didn’t successfully mute us to keep out noise.

I have been doing forward folds for many years and I always have to bend my knees a lot. During the last class when I bent over and my chest was on my thighs I realized my knees where not bent much at all.

My first thought was I was doing it wrong and then I realized I had greatly improved! That time I didn’t cuss. Yea! Maybe one day I will think it feels good. Yeah, sure. Oh well, it is possible. Please check out my latest Youtube Demo of Alice in Colorland.

I never watch horror movies. I have enough nightmares. I think the reason I have a lot of bad dreams is because I don’t sleep that well.

I have a very comfortable bed and I am not too hot which I know can cause nightmares. I don’t always have nightmares but I do have some vivid dreams.

The other night I woke up almost every hour with a bad dream. I told Clyde I hate waking up with a nightmare.

I was waiting for him to say, “Do you want me to leave?” When I say I wake up with a headache that is his response.

Oh well. I guess that joke has run it’s course.

I am looking forward to my Youtube demo today. I was going to paint an expressive painting of a hand but changed my mind. I think I will do that another time.

Today I want to paint another Suggestions painting. These are such great experiences to film since I never know how they will turn out at all.

I have an idea for the other series I do online but this series is an experiment from start to finish. I paint in an Abstract Expressionist manner and then if I see nebulous forms, I bring them out and sometimes add others for design purposes.

If nothing shows up then I add it to my Center of My Mind series, music without words.

I am going to try to avoid a lot of circle motions because that usually turns up fish or birds and I would like to see other forms. Anyway, my set-up is ready to go and I will get to the painting this afternoon.

Lots of birds in our back yard and I really think we are seeing the same chipmunk and squirrel running across our patio.

The chipmunk may be setting up shop in a barbecue set up. We aren’t much for outdoor cooking and I am dragging my feet like I have never dragged them before about buying patio furniture for our new home.

As I have said before, I hate to shop. I hate looking and making decisions on what to buy.

I do need some more canvasses for paintings. That will be done lickety split. Do people still use that phrase?

Anyway, time to get some artwork done. I really do live to paint.

I don’t remember which program it was on, but last night we saw a tennis shoe with a computer in the back.

I met a lady that tracked the number of steps she took a day and the calories she burned with some sort of bracelet.

Computers are taking over.

I have said it before and I will say it again. If bathrooms are computerized we will have to build an outhouse. LOL!

It is so good to laugh in these troubled times. I am looking for humor every day. It helps.

I am an responsible adult that loves all art forms and am especially appreciative of theater arts.

I love movies and I have a collection that goes back to silent films.

My mother was an exceptionally perceptive person and one time when I did something stupid she said I lived in a Dream World.

I couldn’t give her an angry retort because I realized she was right. I had never thought about it before, but I do live in a Dream World and it is a great place to be.

We all have responsibilities we must attend to but I find great solace for the problems in my life and the world in the arts.

I wish everybody did.

You Really are Big Foot now

I think I mentioned that years ago one of my sons friends liked to call my husband Big Foot for a joke. I always thought that was weird since he wears a size 10 shoe.

Anyway, we all laughed about it. Well, another problem he is having since his surgery is feet swelling. I can’t believe how puffy they are.

We have removed the cause and they got better but now they are quite puffy again. Another call to the doctor and probably another visit. We sure are keeping the medical profession going.

He really is Big Foot now.

I have been playing the piano at church for a number of years now, at least five, and I thought I had gotten over my stage fright.

I went from my legs shaking to a sick stomach to just a little nervous. I was so happy when that happened a few months ago that I mentioned it to members during coffee hour.

Now I am back to sick to my stomach. Oh well. There are several others that play the piano but they won’t do it. I took over when the former musician left.

Maybe I will get back to a little nervous. Legs crossed! LOL!

We are having a mild version of the Colorado weather switcheroo. Nineties today and fifties and sixties starting tomorrow.

Glad my husband is great about circulating air through our house. I hate to use air conditioning since it is another convenience that is harming our environment.

Sometimes we give in and use it but I prefer to keep it off especially since as I mentioned in my last post what is comfortable to most people is freezing to me.
