Now that our parents have passed on we have a number of things from our childhoods.

Before Clyde’s mom passed she gave us a bank in the shape of a elephant. I made a whimsical painting of it and it is in my portfolio.

It is on the shelf here in the computer room and it is nice to see it every day.

One of the reasons that I through a tantrum on Saturday was after all my frustration with my new camera I could not find the instruction book anywhere.

I was so careful to keep track of it and it disappeared.

I will check out some Youtubes and see if I can order or download another instruction book.

I miss the old days when you did not need to read a book to use things.

Going to cheer up today and work on something else.

I have often mentioned that I would be in my second childhood if I weren’t still in my first.

Although it is rare, once in a while I throw a tantrum. My Mom was always reminding me that I did that when I was little.

Anyway, I was trying to do a simple thing with my new camera and could not figure it out. All of my frustrations came out in a big tantrum over technology. Cameras used to be so easy to use.

I wish all these technological advancements were easy for me but they are not so I blew up big time.

Probably good to do that once in a while.

I love to watch Alan smash the pins. Last Thursday he had the highest score for both teams on the first game and close to the highest on the second.

So much to do but I have been just playing on the internet. So many Youtubes that I agree with are all over the place.

I get caught up in them and then there is Hoopla. Found a great movie that I saw many years ago that I loved. It is The Bachelor which is a remake of a Buster Keaton movie and hilarious like the original.

Time to get this snail moving.

We think Dingy is gone

We are pretty sure that Dingy the Bat has left our house but since it just showed up flying in our living room we are a little concerned it is living in our house.

All the doors were closed when I saw it. Hopefully it left. We opened the doors but neither of us saw it leave. Hubby says it has to practically eat its body weight in bugs and we don’t have any bugs that I know of.

Dingy better have left to survive. We need bats. They eat a huge amount of mosquitoes.

My husband and I are a lot alike in many ways. We both hate to shop online or in person. Just hate shopping.

I gave up getting my new scanner online so we trekked on over to the store in Christiansburg and finally got a new scanner in a great box!

What I mean by a great box is it just has one piece of tape on top so if it doesn’t work we can easily put it back into the box, put one piece of tape on it and take it back.

Yes! Some things are packaged in such a way that you need some sort of packaging expert to get the item out.

Probably a very bad idea and I guess it is a good thing we don’t really have a place to put one.

Yesterday I saw a small child jumping up and down on a trampoline that had a protective screen around it. I loved jumping on a neighbor’s trampoline when I was a kid. It seemed like I was flying.

I would never do that without a protective screen now.

Oh well. It is always nice to bring up good memories.

I loved to fish when I was a kid and fished with my Dad on the Chesapeake Bay when I was a teenager so of course I love the great show River Monsters.

It is amazing what Jeremy Wade pulls out of the water. Some of them have to be lifted by three people.

Also, it is not just about fishing. He is a biologist and solves mysteries all over the world. Great show! Highly recommend it.

Having a problem with another muscle that is determined to ruin my days and keep me from working.

Yesterday I vegetated and watch a movie I would never watch if I weren’t determined to take it easy.

Hoping to get out of the vegetable patch today but so far I am quite sore.

Oh well. There is always a movie to cheer me up.
