Not sure but I think a scammer has contacted me. They are getting more and more elaborate in their schemes to get people’s money.

The patron wants me to use a payment method that I don’t use and found out online that this type of transaction can be scammed.

I will contact her today and if she will not follow my payment procedure I am bowing out of the sale.

If she is a scammer she is the most legitimate looking one I have ever come across.

Since my order for a scanner that handles slides as well as documents was cancelled we bought one at a store that does not handle slides. They didn’t have any with that capability.

So back to the online drawing board. I am having a hard time finding one that has the information regarding which computer they can work with.

Another, I wish I had majored in Computer Science day.

No Covid!

My son tested negative yesterday for Covid! He just has a nasty sinus infection that he tends to get in the cold weather.

Yes!!!! He was exposed to someone with the disease so we were very worried he had it and would give it to us. We are still Covid free!

I have been dancing around the house since he took the test! We are vaccinated to the hilt but I worry about the long term symptoms that I have been reading about and a friend said a doctor told him there is a high rate of Covid infection in Southwest Virginia.

It is not over.

My son is coughing and feeling pretty sick. I hope he does not have Covid.

We are going to take him in today and we will all get tested. He was exposed to someone that was recovering from it so we are quite concerned that he has gotten it.

We have all been very careful and are still wearing masks and avoiding crowds.

Last night I woke up every hour. The bad thing is, I woke up every hour. The good thing is I went back to sleep right after waking up.

Hubby is having more digestive problems so he had to get up four times. Of course, I did not wake up four times between 11:00 and 7:00. I woke up eight times.

Not sure what the problem is but the guest room is starting to look good until Clyde gets better.

He is going to check with the doctor today to see if still needs to be on iron pills.

Oh well. Always a lot to be thankful for.

Finally organized my huge collection of VHS and DVD movies. As I have said before my tastes are not typical so a lot of my VHS movies are not available to stream or in DVD format. Many of my DVD movies are also not available.

My collection is very important to me. I love all the arts and get so much out of good productions. I have read many books after seeing the movie version which is a great experience.

I always think the book is better but I still like the movie and movies can offer a lot to the viewer that a book can’t offer so it is a win win to see the movie and read the book.

Anyway, I don’t have to look for any now that they are all in order on a shelf and in a cabinet that has the VHS TV on top.

Now on to another chore.

I am way up there in senior years but when I look into the mirror I don’t see any wrinkles. I use a lot of coconut oil.

I asked my husband if the reason I don’t see wrinkles is because the coconut oil is working or I don’t have glasses on.

My smart husband said it is the coconut oil. Yeah, right. It’s the glasses.

Since they are reading glasses I think I will just enjoy not seeing wrinkles.

I couldn’t go yesterday but today I am headed to the lake! It may not be the ocean but, like I always say, no sharks!

These days that is important. When I go to the shore I don’t swim in the ocean. Too much shark activity.

One time I was standing in water up to my shin and a lady next to me said they had seen sharks in water that deep.

Yikes! Sharks don’t really want people but they take exploratory bites. I don’t want to lose a limb while they are figuring out whether or not they want me.

For once I don’t have a thing to say and am too tired to try to think of something up so I will just post a different painting and get to work on other things.

Hoping my current oil painting is dry so I can get to the next layer. Well, there! I did think of something.
