Today I received a pornographic picture message from a so-called Facebook friend. He is no longer a Facebook friend. I am liking Facebook less and less. I need it for social media marketing but sometimes it is like being in a wild bar. I don’t go to bars. I am pretty much a hobbit painter and perfectly happy that way.
There is a great Facebook joke on the internet that is advice from Garfield. Facebook needs three more buttons. 1. Dislike 2. Who cares? 3. You’re an idiot Clyde does not like Facebook at all and does not have a personal page, only a business page. He says Facebook is like a never-ending breakfast of styrofoam.
I am looking forward to starting a large wildflower painting! I just finished Hidden Beauty and now I want to work on a bunch of different wildflowers on a large scale! Look out studio! Here comes the paint!
More progress on my Cover Illustration for Fiddler at Midnight’s Farmhouse. Ran into a few problems that were solved today and I hope to have most of it done tomorrow. Next week I will have to work in areas to strengthen the light effect and description. I will be so glad when it is done! Yes!

Clyde and I like to walk in Wild Wood Park as much as we can. I was pleased we got there today. Often times I bring a bag with my camera and my glasses in case I see a butterfly on a flower that would make a good photograph to add to my wildlife gallery on my website. I only have a few photographs in that gallery.
I told Clyde to be on the look out for good photo possibilities and he looked puzzled and asked me if I had my camera.
I told him I was always packing. Camera, not gun, of course. I have decided that if I don’t have my camera Tom Hanks will probably walk right through the park. I wear something with deep pockets and put the camera in one pocket and my glasses in the other one.
He didn’t show up and I didn’t get a single wildlife photo. Oh well, back to the easel. I love all mediums but photography is lowest on my list. No disrespect to photographers! It is a beautiful medium. I do have some good ones, though.
Please click on my latest Youtube! I now have subtitles on it. You have to click on the cc caption under the Youtube but they are there!
I am so pleased with the progress on my cover illustration for “Fiddling at Midnight’s Farmhouse”! I think I will be done with it next week which is much sooner than I thought I would finish it. I will be glad to get back to Skyline Beauty paintings and more Kendall Expressions paintings! Onward!
Before I tell this story, I need to say we live very close to the Fire Station.
Tuesday, I finally figured out something on Youtube that has been driving me crazy! I have such a hard time with that site. I will always remember the time our young computer friend couldn’t help me with one problem and I finally figured that one out! Proud day!
I was so excited that I ran outside to tell Clyde. I told him that after all the time I put in trying to figure it out, my success seemed like such a great accomplishment!
He said a great accomplishment would be to see the computer soaring over the Fire Station, gaining acceleration, and landing on Pluto without any assistance from NASA.
