I really didn’t think the snow threat was true.  Lots of times snow is predicted here and we hardly get any.  Not this time!  The inches are piling up and I still have not bought new boots. My old ones cracked apart.  I guess I’ll get the dog sled ready and head to the store.

An article on me and my artwork will be in the June print issue of The Inflectionist and the CEO contacted me about which paintings to use.  I have 699 pieces of artwork in my portfolio right now so I am going to have a hard time deciding which work to use.

 

He has some in mind but I’m not sure they are the best choices to represent me.  Decisions, decisions!  I am sure we will work it out!

 

The Inflectionist is a magazine for a small group of writers and artists. 

Most of the writers possess journalism degrees and some of the team are actually well known figures in the music and literary industries, including Kevin Stea (who was in Madonnas “Vogue” and Michael Jacksons “Black or White”) and Adam Jacot De Boinod (a writer for the TV show “QI”).

 

Glad to be asked to be part of this magazine.  Now to figure out what to put in the article.

Production Problems. Writer/Actor Disputes…


I finally got my latest Youtube up!  I am glad I am not a performing artist.  The writer and actor argued over the script and it took a while to resolve the conflict.  LOL!  I think it is great!  Not exactly what I wanted but it is close so I am happy!

I will put it here tomorrow after the editing is done on Youtube.

Movie Tonight!

Got my Dancing Shoes on!

I Guess I have Gotten used to that Piano…


I have played the piano since I was a kid and one of the first things I noticed about pianos is that all of them have very different action and it takes me days to get used to them.

A while back I was complaining about how white oil paint has changed. It is much thinner and seems to take forever to dry. I guess I finally figured out how used to it and now I like it very much. I use much less medium and am able to use brushes I hadn’t used in years.

Like I said, I guess I finally got used to that piano!

Yes I put the Account number and Everything else on the Check


I just paid a stack of bills and I get a little annoyed with the instructions on the envelope flap.  Yes I put the account no., yes I signed my check, no my address has not changed etc. I guess a lot of people make those errors when they pay bills or the instructions would not be there. 

I know I could pay them online but online banking makes me nervous.  I don’t trust the internet.  I have to have a Paypal account but that is all the money I want on the net.

I made it to Claytor Lake!  When I got there everyone was out of the water due to thunder.  A few minutes later we were back in and swam for forty-five minutes and then the thunder started again!  Talk about lucky! I got my swim in!
