I am running around in circles today! So much to do and my son is home sick. Yikes! I have to get him to the doctor at 11:30 which means I have to start painting much earlier than usual if I want to catch the best light in the studio. Still looking forward to Line Dance tomorrow! Got to paint, play the piano, and dance! They all keep me going!
Well, I did get to paint in spite of all my chores and now I will publish this! Cheers!

As I have mentioned before, Clyde and I are not happy with digital TV. We were just fine without it and could get public television. Since we lost the public television station with the digital takeover we were forced to get cable but we will not pay cable for all the TVs so our bedroom TV blips in and out. Sometimes the stations come in and sometimes they come in with a lot of abstract art stills. Lots of times only one station comes in.
Last night I reminded Clyde of how television was when we were kids. We turned the set on and the stations came in. We didn’t need a bunch of others and it would work in any room.
He replied, “We’ve come a long way baby!” He was, of course, being sarcastic. We would both like to go back to the old way.
Oh no! Line Dancing is cancelled tonight! I love that class and we had a great performance in Pulaski last Tuesday. I was looking forward to seeing the camera video that was made of it. Oh well, we will all just have to wait until next Tuesday and then we will be practicing for another performance! Got to dance!

Not much to say today. So much computer work that I am determined to get away for a while so this will be short and sweet. I am very excited about my new Expressions paintings and I will get in there soon to work on my latest! I am very please with The Eye of The Squirrel and have added it to my website!

The Eye of The Squirrel is an intense, expressive painting from my series Kendall Expressions. My work has always had Expressionistic elements combined with Impressionistic elements. In these works I am emphasizing my expressive side. I am very pleased with the look in the squirrel’s eye and how the animal seems to sink into an other worldly space.
Life with The Word and Bird Man – Clyde Kessler
I can’t believe that I forgot that Line Dancing was cancelled last night. It is a half hour drive to Pulaski and I made that trip for nothing. Clyde said that must have been a short class.
I hang appointment notices from the kitchen doorway and mark all over the calender. I try to read as much Spanish as I have time for on the internet and still can’t find my glasses or remember some important things said to me like class cancellation.
I guess I will just have to keep remembering the saying on Facebook that it isn’t age that is causing memory problems, it is just that I have so much information over the years that I can’t keep track of it all.
