Wow! Lots of white stuff out there! Our street has not been plowed but I can see traffic moving on one of the main roads from my window. The guys have shoveled the sidewalk twice now and it is still pouring down.
I’ll never forget what my brother did when we were kids. He would clear off the driveway after about an inch or two had accumulated and then repeat as often as necessary. That way he was just pushing it off rather than lifting heavy snow.
Now he has a snow blower.

As I have mentioned before I have fought the battle of the bulge my whole life. I can’t imagine what it would be like to have the freedom to eat anything without gaining weight.
Anyway, I have learned lots of tricks over the years to keep my weight down and I recently discovered a new one that surprised me.
Once in a while I get the munchies and give in and then am mad at myself. I hate being stuffed. It ruins the great experience of eating. It is like I have to over eat once in a while to remind myself I don’t want to do that.
Exercise is supposed to make you hungry but if I choose to exercise when I am about to over eat it actually takes my appetite away!
Since Clyde is also prone to eating a little too much I told him I had a new way to stop the munchies.
He said,” Sew your lips together? That would probably do it but if you can still eat, then you deserve it.”
I love to look at snow but I hate being socked in when the roads are covered. Our roads have been cleared so I will be running around to stores and the library before the really big storm dumps a blanket on us.
Heavy snow storm is predicted for tomorrow starting this evening. I hope it fizzles. I still haven’t gotten to the store for boots. Maybe I can get that done today.

I have Line Dance and Yoga on the same day for a while and I really am tired at the end of the day. I am always tired but last night I was extra pooped!
Anyway, lots to do today and I keep running into road blocks that I put in my Life with The Word and Bird Man section. I will keep moving and stop tripping, I hope!
I don’t care how cold it is right now, I wish I were at the scene below! Love the beach!

When my son was little I read a lot of Sesame Street books to him. One of our favorites was Grover’s Bad Awful Day. It is a great book to read to kids so they can get through tough times. Well, I certainly thought about that book this morning.
You know you are having a bad day when the pajamas you threw on to the dresser falls in the trash can.
You know you are having a bad day when your water filter just sits there and does not fill up the pitcher.
You know you are having a bad day when you click on something and get a phony virus infection notice that you can’t get off without turning the computer off.
Lastly, you know you are having a bad day when you call your husband to ask about a computer problem and the computer gives you a dirty look and just spins and spins and spins.
I am going to go get groceries so I can say I got something done this morning and then come back to all my computer work.
I was so pleased the Aquatic Center was open today! I had to use the competition pool which is always colder than the leisure pool. Oh well, once you get in and manage not to scream it isn’t so bad. I like to swim once a week but can’t always get to a pool. The chlorine is a problem this time of year but I slather lotion on and hope for the best! Yoga and Line Dance tomorrow! Got to keep moving!

I have my work cut out for me today as usual. I hope I can get to a new Skyline Beauty painting but I need to build a crate to send a painting out. That is always quite a chore. Artwork has to be immobilized and double boxed.
I have to measure and cut out the boxes and sides which always takes a lot longer than I think it will. I also have some photography to get done and a zillion computer chores.
Oh well, can’t complain about selling another original! I am so pleased my new Skyline Beauty series is appreciated! Star City Sparkle was sold to a great Virginia patron!

Lately there have been some great funnies on Facebook. I always like to tell Clyde about them. He usually comes up with another one to go along with it.
Yesterday someone posted I am so glad I don’t have to hunt for food. I don’t even know where sandwiches live.
Clyde added, you think that’s hard. None of those critters ever let me put mustard on them.
I can’t believe I actually spent some time cleaning the studio. I could still get to the easel and walk around the room if I was careful to step over things. I don’t know what possessed me to do that. I guess after I had to chuck a bunch of pieces of cardboard into the center so I could take some new photos of paintings, I was inspired to pick them up, and all the other stuff, too.
Anyway, glad I did! Now I can walk in there without bumping into something. Yes!!!

Why is it that I worked all morning and I still had so much to do? Someone once told me that a person’s chances of winning the lottery were the same as getting struck by lightening 14 times in one day.
I wish the winner would divide it up and give everyone a share. Then we would all be millionaires! I have seen that suggestion posted a bunch of times the last few days. Sounds good to me! Then I could hire a staff to take care of all my work and I could just paint.

I don’t have any printable funnies from Clyde. Lately he has come up with some great ones that would get me in trouble if I printed them. Anyway, I just saw a great pun on Facebook. I know he will like it when I tell him.
Two ant eaters are in bed and one of them says he can’t sleep because he has indigestion from eating fire ants. Of course, the other one says he should take an ant acid. Love it!
Still having a great time with my Skyline Beauty Series! Here is another one and I will finish the next one tomorrow. I think I will be moving on to different skylines now. Enjoyed Roanoke!

I am really enjoying my Beautiful Skyline Series! I still have a lot of ideas for the Roanoke Skyline but I will move on to others. Live to paint! I can’t say that too many times. I just wish I had an agent for all the other work. Oh well, time to move on to some computer work and then Yoga! Love it! My joints especially love Yoga!

I don’t know if it is me or the media or both but I am getting rather paranoid. I mentioned this to Clyde and he said he was too scared to be paranoid.
Frozen in his tracks waiting for the next rock to fall out of the sky! LOL!
I am not much of a cook and we have a lot of restrictions so it is difficult to come up with something we all can eat but today I am going to take the time to cook a pot roast! I have a great recipe that doesn’t have any ingredients that are off out lists.
I love to eat and we have a saying in our family that a lot of people misunderstand. After a great meal one of us asks if we are fat and happy! The word fat is just used to mean so full we feel bigger, not really fatter. Anyway, I intend to be fat and happy later on today.
