Hi Everyone!  I am back from a great wedding.  We all had a wonderful time!  The ceremony was beautiful, the food was fantastic, and I enjoyed meeting friends and family of the bride and groom!

More Fall of the House of Kessler. We are waiting on a plumber to give us an assessment on pipe replacement.  We still have a  hole in our son’s room where the massive leak destroyed a large section.  Now the TV we had hooked up to cable decided to completely die. 

We thought it might have to do with the cable service.  It would come on but only show the symbol for the brand but not go to any channels.  The only way we could get rid of the symbol was to unplug it.  Well, the cable service provider came over today and pronounced it dead.  Now where do we bury it?  I don’t want to pile more junk up.  I was hoping it could be fixed.  Oh well, time to get a new one.

Life with The Word and Bird Man – Clyde Kessler

Our printer can be very irritating.  Sometimes when I turn it on it is ready to print and other times it boops and beeps for a very long time before printing.  I told Clyde I could knit an entire Afghan before it would print. 

He said he could walk to Afghanistan, maybe have to use a row boat here and there, but still be back before it started to print. 

I think he is right. I hope I can get the prints I need before someone writes my obituary.

It is heating up outside and I am looking forward to blowing up my inner tubes and going to Claytor Lake!  Love swimming there!  Alan and I do some laps and then we spin around in our tubes. 

The temperature is climbing and I am looking fondly at my swimming suit.  Last week I went to the Aquatic Center for the first time in many months.  It is so hard to find time to get over there but I did it last Wednesday which turned out to be high on my list of worst days ever.  Irritations galore plus bad news from a relative made me look forward to Thursday. 

Oh well, we all have bad awful days like Grover from Sesame Street.  I read Grover’s Bad Awful Day to Alan many times and I often think of the solution.  Go get a ice cream sundae and cheer up!  I had a caramel creme yogurt bar instead but it was great!

Wow! I try so hard to organize everything but sometimes I feel like I am on a sinking ship without a life boat.  I have a huge section of documents on one of my shelves that I can’t put in the computer room because that room is filled with Clyde’s Naturalist and Poetry documents.  The closet and three book shelves are loaded. 

So, today I decided to play Librarian.  I sorted through everything and placed them in sections and typed out a document with the list of what is there starting on the left side and ending on the right side.  Hopefully that will help so I won’t groan big time when I need to find something. 

I remember a long time ago I bought an organizing gift for my Dad since he was covered up in documents.  He, of course, thanked me and then said, “Now where am I going to put it?”  These days everything can be on a computer but we have to have paper back up so the paper chase goes on!

Trying to get away but it is hard.  So much to do but I would like to get down to the Aquatic Center.  Haven’t been there in a long time.  I am not a great swimmer but there is more to life than Line Dancing and Yoga.  I am stretched out so it is time to pick up the pace and do some laps.  Not the most exciting thing to do but definitely a good thing to do.

Looking forward to lake swimming soon! 

Maybe I can get out right after lunch and before grocery shopping.  Here’s to moving fast!

Such a gorgeous day!  Clyde and I got out for a walk in beautiful Bisset Park yesterday!  Glad to get away from work for a while.  Can’t do it today but hope to soon.  Clyde is a one-man educator.  I always learn about birds, butterflies or plants when I walk with him.  I wish everyone had his interests. 

I think if children were taught more about nature they would appreciate the world more and get off their phones.  I liked it better when we didn’t have to take a phone with us.  In the house and on street corners was fine with me. 

Oh well, we can’t stop progress but sometimes I am not so sure what we are told is progress- is progress.  Time to get off the soap box and work in the studio.

I am very pleased with my latest Beautiful Nude painting! I had the first stage on my website but it turned out so well that I just replaced the file with the finished painting that was not much different from the first stage.  Sometimes they really come together without a lot of torment. 

I hope the next one that I just started works out that well.  I have my doubts from the first stage. Not real happy with it.

Oh well.  Never give up and don’t let painting drive you nuts.  That is my motto!

I don’t have anything from Clyde today but since some of Alan’s friends used to tease him and call him Big Foot, I thought he would like a joke I saw on Facebook.  Under a picture of Big Foot tramping through the Forest there is this caption.  Leave the camp site without a trace.  If Big Foot can do it, so can you.  Love it!  So did Clyde.

I am so pleased to own an adjustable table for my computer!  Now I can stand up rather than get all stiff in a chair!  The table can easily be adjusted for sitting or standing. I highly recommend it!  They say sitting at a computer is the new smoking. 

I much rather stand to work!  I have always had good feet.  Not as good as they used to be, but they still keep me up! 

Here is the first stage of my new Beautiful Nude!  It is working out very well!  I don’t think this one will be an art arm wrestling match. Hope I am right!

I have been looking for a wedding gift for a  great nephew and bride and I decided a fancy crock pot would be a good one. When Clyde called to get me up I mentioned that to him.

How about a crock?

You say you are crocked? 

You know I don’t drink.  A crock pot for Thomas and Sophie. 

OH.  Glad to know you haven’t taken up drinking.

Not yet.  Give me time.  You may give me a reason to start.  Wish I could go back to sleep.

Happy Easter to those that celebrate it! My hairdresser was selling easter eggs to benefit a church so I bought one.  It was a maple one and fantastic!  I am eating a little each day.  Haven’t had an Easter egg since I was a kid getting my own basket.  Great memories of those days.  Loved the Easter egg hunts.  I’ll never forget one that my Dad gave when I was very young.  I don’t remember who it was but a real nice boy was worried I wouldn’t find any so he pointed out some to me.  What a nice guy!  Anyway, for Christians this is a great day of celebration!
