Yesterday I mentioned that I had contact with an impressive scammer.
I was hoping that I was wrong but when I explained how the payment had to be handled she did not respond.
I am not going to give the details of the scam but it was a great one. So convincing.
Glad I have always seen through those.

Rainy days don’t make me sad. I always thought it was nice to be able to see without sunglasses on a rainy day.
Just dragging along thinking about all I have to do and how I would rather be on a sunny beach with sunglasses.
I can’t imagine anyone else thinking that, especially when they are working on taxes.

I found a Youtube tutorial for my camera that actually has the same words and symbols that are in my new camera.
It is the most recent version of the camera I bought and I don’t have to translate anything.
I am sure many people can figure out the word the person on the Youtube is using instead of the one in my device but I need the instructions to be very clear.

Wow! Last night my son bowled a 212! I have never gotten past 160.
Both teams were watching him bowl.
At one point in the game he bowled five strikes in a row!
He was really in the zone last night!

At the doctor’s office yesterday I could not help but hear a conversation between two workers at the desk.
One was trim and the other one was morbidly obese. The obese one asked the trim one if she had lost weight.
The trim one said others had asked her that but she didn’t think so. She said her weight stays around 140-145.
The other one said her right foot weighed 145.
They both laughed and the obese one gave the trim one a hug.
Sense of humor is so important!

A while back I talked about how some boxes are easy to open and others require a ridiculous amount of effort and then is difficult to return since it is so hard to get it back into the package.
Well, I ordered a slide scanner that is going to work out well and the package is easy to open.
Unfortunately, the gizmo I needed for my new camera did not work out. We had our young friend over to see if he could get it going with the downloads and he could not do it.
Of course, that package was ridiculous and we bought that at a store that takes thirty minutes to get to. The clerk assured me it would work with our Mac. Yeah, right.
I think this should be another one of Murphy’s Laws. If you have to take an item back to the store it is almost 100% likely to be in a box that has to be torn apart so returning the item is a pain.
Beautiful day! Time to step away from the computer.

My husband spends a lot of time in isolated spots where he studies wildlife.
He wears a jacket that has threads hanging down from the sleeves and the back of it.
I don’t think any crooks would think he has any money. Could be wrong but I doubt it. He looks like a hobo.
He says that is why he wears clothing that is falling apart.
He has been doing this for many decades and no assaults so far.

Maybe I am just old fashioned but I think members of Congress should not heckle a president when he is giving a State of the Union speech.
I remember when the opposite party would just look glum and sometimes clap. I think that is enough of a response. I was also sad to hear that there was heckling by the president’s party, too.
I am glad I did not watch it, especially when known liars call the president a liar.

The other day when I put my egg in the pan it was a little pink. I went downstairs to my farm boy and asked if I should eat that.
I always ask him these questions since he did grow up on a farm.
He said it was all right and was just the indication of an embryo forming and he had eaten eggs like that before.
When I went upstairs it was not a little pink, it was a lot of pink so I threw it out.
Not eating a pink egg.

I don’t like scary films with one exception. I like the ones about ventriloquists that have dummies that become alive and are evil.
Most horror films give me nightmares but since it is really a wooden doll these don’t bother me. I saw a short clip of the film Magic starring Anthony Hopkins and Burgess Meredith so I ordered it on Netflix and am looking forward to checking it out.
I first saw Anthony Hopkins in The Lion in Winter and have been a fan ever since. Time to get to work so I can check it out. Love movies!
