Yesterday I was talking with a friend that would like to move out west.

I could not believe the cost of houses out there.

I am not going to get into any details or specific states but the supply and demand is crazy in some of the western states.

I have lived in Virginia my whole life and don’t want to move. I went from flat land to the mountains and love living in the mountains of this gorgeous state.

After all my tantrums with my new camera I found the instruction book.

I have a box for items that go downstairs and one for items that go upstairs. I am cleaning out a closet and those items covered up the book.

Anyway, I think I am getting used to the new one for now but it is great to have the book.

Now lets see what else I can lose.

I have painted many beautiful scenes of gorgeous Pawleys Island in South Carolina.

The hurricane caused a tremendous amount of damage and one of the piers was taken out and is floating somewhere in the Atlantic.

One of my favorite Pawleys Island paintings was of one of the piers. I had that one professionally framed and it was sold to a New Jersey patron. I don’t know if that is the pier that was torn loose.

I hope the people there will be all right and the damage taken care of. The residents say that compared to Florida they received a pass.
