I sure am taking the detours lately.  I started a Blue Ridge painting and then decided to try again for a demo Youtube with a Suggestion painting.  It turned out to be too long for my camera card so I just finished the first stage of it and will add it to my portfolio.  Soon I will get back to my new Blue Ridge painting. I am looking forward to doing a few more from areas along The Blue Ridge Parkway that I will be traveling this weekend!

I am so pleased to be working on a new Blue Ridge painting!  I was going to paint it in acrylics but now I think it would work better in oils which is always my favorite choice of medium! 

I want to make a completely different type of Youtube so I am putting the painting on hold and am going to demonstrate one of my Suggestions paintings!  I hope I can do that with my voice as background but if it turns out to be real long I am going to speed it up the way I see a lot of artists doing these days.  Looking forward to getting started!

Fall on the New River certainly is a popular painting!  Another print of it was bought today by a great Virginia patron.  A great North Carolina patron owns the original. Check out the print possibilities below the picture of it.  This certainly has been a busy day. 

I am communicating with a patron who is interested in a commission which I am glad to do.  I had so many online things I wanted to do today but the day is about shot and I didn’t get to much.  Oh well.  I do the best I can as the days slip right out of my fingers.  I am sure I am not alone in that regard.  Cheers to me and everyone else!

Life with The Word and Bird Man – Clyde Kessler

I still have not ordered Clyde’s Smart Phone.  I told him I wanted him to find some plain pans that won’t poison us and he hasn’t done that yet so we are even. 

I was thinking about what he said last time about how hard it will be for us to get a new phone going.  He said it would be like two monkeys in a tree trying to open a banana with a coconut.  Well, I think two monkeys in a tree would be smarter than that. 

He said I was right.  One of them would eat the banana and clunk the other one over the head with the coconut to open it.  That sounds more like it!  LOL!
