My latest painting is really aggravating. The second stage was great. I should have left it there. I am so glad I preserve the different stages. A common complaint among artists is that sometimes we go too far and kill a good painting. Well, I am nothing if not extremely stubborn. I had two stubborn parents and have three stubborn siblings.
As my older sister said, “Two big stubborns make four little stubborns.” No offense to my family. Let’s just say we are all very determined to accomplish what we set out to accomplish. Oh yes! That sounds much better.
Anyway, I am going to get in there and try to save it. Crazy artist to the rescue, I hope. Below is the painting I did right before my current arm wrestler. This one turned out really well! Ah, the good old days!
