My neck is just about well. Still can’t turn to the left without pain but it isn’t bad. Excited about starting a new Skyline Painting today! Still working on Charlotte, NC and then I think I will paint Richmond. Working my way out from beautiful Southwest Virginia.
Bowling starts tonight! Yea!!!!

In spite of a sore neck I was able to go to Yoga yesterday and the class was full! Great to see so many people there! I just avoided any position that involved turning my neck to the left. It is still sore. I still don’t know why I woke up Monday with a horrible pain. Anyway, it is just about gone. Yes!!!!
Check out my latest Charlotte NC Skyline painting!

As I have mentioned ad nauseam I spend a lot of time on the computer promoting my artwork. I used to run around to galleries which was quite a chore so I really shouldn’t complain about all my computer chores, but I do.
I am always thinking about what I need to do and don’t want to do and then I am reminded that most of the chores take two shakes of a lamb’s tail.
Well, the problem is there are so many chores that I am shaking that lamb’s tail all day long.
Clyde said I should watch out. Peta might come after me.
Monday is not starting off well. I thought I was working on a draft and instead I typed over yesterday’s post. Oh well, like my son says, “Mondays and Tuesdays are rough on me.”
I am never using the glasses by the computer again. They fall down my nose so I am always looking up at an angle and this morning I woke up with a sore muscle in my neck. Ouch! I have plenty of glasses in the kitchen and now one of those pairs will be here.

I have been married to the Word Man for so long that I am starting to come up with some humorous sayings.
I am always baffled with the amount of attention that is paid to small things and not important ones. I am not going to give out examples for fear of offending someone.
Here is what I came up with.
Attention to small things rather than the big problems in our society is the nuts and bolts of stupid and that is what makes the world go around.
Clyde had a different ending to the saying but I think I had better not print it. “World” will do.
Sunday went by so fast. Too much to do. I am working on adjusting items on my portfolio and it is taking a long time. I didn’t realize I had so little text on many of my listings. This will take a lot of time and I need to get away from the computer. Oh well, too much to do is better than nothing to do! Cheers!

I have my work cut out for me today as usual. I hope I can get to a new Skyline Beauty painting but I need to build a crate to send a painting out. That is always quite a chore. Artwork has to be immobilized and double boxed.
I have to measure and cut out the boxes and sides which always takes a lot longer than I think it will. I also have some photography to get done and a zillion computer chores.
Oh well, can’t complain about selling another original! I am so pleased my new Skyline Beauty series is appreciated! Star City Sparkle was sold to a great Virginia patron!

Lately there have been some great funnies on Facebook. I always like to tell Clyde about them. He usually comes up with another one to go along with it.
Yesterday someone posted I am so glad I don’t have to hunt for food. I don’t even know where sandwiches live.
Clyde added, you think that’s hard. None of those critters ever let me put mustard on them.
I can’t believe I actually spent some time cleaning the studio. I could still get to the easel and walk around the room if I was careful to step over things. I don’t know what possessed me to do that. I guess after I had to chuck a bunch of pieces of cardboard into the center so I could take some new photos of paintings, I was inspired to pick them up, and all the other stuff, too.
Anyway, glad I did! Now I can walk in there without bumping into something. Yes!!!

Why is it that I worked all morning and I still had so much to do? Someone once told me that a person’s chances of winning the lottery were the same as getting struck by lightening 14 times in one day.
I wish the winner would divide it up and give everyone a share. Then we would all be millionaires! I have seen that suggestion posted a bunch of times the last few days. Sounds good to me! Then I could hire a staff to take care of all my work and I could just paint.
Yes!!!

I don’t have any printable funnies from Clyde. Lately he has come up with some great ones that would get me in trouble if I printed them. Anyway, I just saw a great pun on Facebook. I know he will like it when I tell him.
Two ant eaters are in bed and one of them says he can’t sleep because he has indigestion from eating fire ants. Of course, the other one says he should take an ant acid. Love it!
Still having a great time with my Skyline Beauty Series! Here is another one and I will finish the next one tomorrow. I think I will be moving on to different skylines now. Enjoyed Roanoke!
Lots more to do tonight but now it is tea time! Cheers!

I don’t know if it is me or the media or both but I am getting rather paranoid. I mentioned this to Clyde and he said he was too scared to be paranoid.
Frozen in his tracks waiting for the next rock to fall out of the sky! LOL!
Please click on my Youtube! I am hoping to post my demonstration video if I can figure out the software. If not, I will make another one on my artwork soon!

Today in church the minister was talking about how doctors consider love to be the best medicine and if it is not enough then we should increase the dosage.
I agree but let’s not forget humor! I have always heard that Laughter is a great medicine and I work on finding it every day. I don’t have to look far! There is always something to laugh about!
