I now have four good tires so I am heading for the Aquatic Center. I have more work to do than I can shake a stick out but I am going anyway!
Some fantastic music by 20th artist Erik Satie arrived yesterday and I love playing it! Such beautiful, sensuous music. I now have two books of his work. I first heard his music on a remake of The Painted Veil and have been in love with it ever since!

Please click on my latest Youtube! I hope to have a new one tomorrow!
I am so pleased to sell a print of Rosy Evening at Isle of Palms to a great South Carolina patron! I live to paint but I do have a collection of creative photographs of beach scenes and flowers. I am glad they are appreciated, too! Be sure to check them out on my web site!
Also, I haven’t mentioned this before, but I do commissions and I am capable of reproducing a photograph in paint. Photo Realism is not my preferred style, but I will do it for hire.
This morning I got a lot of work done so I was determined to go swim at The C’Burg Aquatic Center. I was on my way when I heard a strange noise. After a few minutes I realized I had a flat. I made it home driving on three wheels and a rim. Yuck! No swimming for me.

Oftentimes Clyde and I talk about the changes in our bodies with age. I am working hard to try to counter some of the physical problems with yoga and he walks for miles every day.
All the exercise in the world will not stop the ravages of time and I have noticed quite a difference in my hands in the winter. In the summer they look pretty good but when the weather is dry the wrinkles are so pronounced.
I showed them to Clyde last night and he said,”That is nothing. My hands are so wrinkled that they are looking for new places to put wrinkles.”
He groaned when I said I was going to put that in my blog. Well, I thought it was funny!
My Yoga teacher provided us with a substitute today. Wow, that was a work out. Anyone that thinks Yoga is just some graceful stretching has never spent much time doing it.
She put us through some stretches I have never done before. They were great and I am seeing quite a bit of progress. Exercise is great but stretching is essential to keeping those muscles and joints in shape.
Tomorrow is the last day for this week’s special promotions! Don’t miss out on 40% off my regular price!

Beautiful weather today! It is great to get a break from the cold. I am still sorting through The Bermuda Triangle and finding some things I need to add to my computer records so the time is well spent. I hope to get to my current painting later and work on some records. Busy, busy, busy!
If anyone knows why my typing is showing up a while after I type it, please let me know what I need to do with my Mac. This is extremely irritating.
Clyde made an election comment that I cannot print but he does have a suggestion for record keeping in this country that might be helpful. Not funny, just helpful.
After hearing about the latest computer crisis concerning IRS hacking that involves a large number of people, Clyde commented that perhaps we should not have extremely important records on line. If we reverted to paper records then the information could not be hacked and there would be more jobs.
Something to consider in our computer dominated world.
I did see a cute comment on Facebook. If we are going to have an extra day in March, why does it have to be a Monday? -Maxine
When it rains, it pours. This past week was full of aggravation. Computer aggravation, family aggravation, painting aggravation, and physical pain. To top off all the problems I developed a horrible blood sore in my mouth that burst but it is still very sore after many days.
Oh well, time to stop complaining although I am very tempted to throw this computer out the window. The typing is sporadic and getting on my nerves big time.
This week has got to better! Check out the first stage of my latest Kendall Expressions painting!

Lots of frustration today. I’m sure I am not the only one. I ruined a painting and that is always a downer. The sun just came out so that helps. I am not going to bore anyone with my current irritations. I will just get to work and try to cheer up.
I wrote down three things I needed to do yesterday and didn’t do a single one of them. I remember years ago hearing my Dad say he had so many things on his mind. I now understand what he was talking about.
So much to do and so little time. Maybe I can get those three things done today in addition to the stuff I tackle every day. I don’t want the list to keep growing.
I have decided to take a break from my Skyline Series because I have a great idea for a new Kendall Expressions painting. Not sure which medium I will use but it will be a 20″ x 16″ one. In spite of all my chores I will get the preparations going today!

Clyde finally said something about the upcoming Presidential election that I can print! He is not happy about how the preliminaries are going and he said if it comes down to two he really cannot support he is tempted to write in Scooby Doo!
