Well, I couldn’t miss Line Dance Class today so when I arrived I put sanitizer on my hands.  Then I put gloves on and kept them on during the whole class.  I stood six feet away from each dancer. 

When I got in my car to leave I took the sanitizer out again, took off my gloves and put that stuff on again. 

When I got home I put the gloves in the wash.  I hope that did it.  I don’t want to stop living to keep from dying but the Rec Center where the classes are held may shut down.  I think most everyone else is smarter than me regarding this pandemic. 

On well.  I have the CDS from out performances and it doesn’t take much room to dance away.  Now the question is whether or not I go to Yoga class tomorrow.  Anyway, I finished my latest Blue Ridge painting of a Wintergreen Sunset. Life with The Word and Bird Man – Clyde Kessler

Clyde told me a long time ago that when retired he would get some sophisticated equipment to record bird songs.  Now he says he probably won’t do that. 

Why? 

My hearing is not what it used to be.  A lot of Bird Watchers our age can’t hear certain bird songs. I can’t even hear a Golden Crowned Kinglet. 

Or me asking you to do the dishes.  Just joking. Clyde is great about taking turns washing the dishes and I hope he does get that equipment. 

To quote the very fun movie Galaxy Quest.  Never give up! Never surrender!

I have been having hard time sleeping lately for many reasons so last night was great! I went to bed at 10:30 and didn’t get up until 8:00!  Always good to get some much needed sleep. 

I have never been one of those people that drop right off like my husband does.  Some of us have a very hard time turning off our minds.  I am not surprised that I remember a lot of whacky dreams since I don’t sleep that well. 

Anyway, I am looking into my next painting idea and I  put up my Monday video on Youtube! Be sure to check it out.  I decided to go back to some Skyline Beauty paintings and the first one is of Dallas Texas.

I was feeling a little down the other day so naturally I wanted to get some cheering up from Clyde so I lied down next to him in the bedroom where he was watching T.V.

I want you to do something to cheer me up.

Leave?

No. 

Well, at least I didn’t look in the mirror and complain about how old I look and then asked him to say something nice and his response was, “Well, your eyesight is perfect.”

Argh, argh and argh again!  I am so tired of being run over by technology.  Now my phone is acting up and it is a new one.  I always get help from my husband when I have to contact the provider for help.  If I don’t I may start heaving things around the room in total exasperation. 

What really aggravates me is we spend fifty minutes trying to get help and have to just say bye on the chat.  It always goes this way.  I explain the problem and am given a solution which does not the apply to the problem. Then the agent goes through a bunch of other solutions that don’t work and then just repeats the first solution. 

That is when I want to start chucking things.  Oh well, I figured a way around the problem and will just go with it.  I don’t want another fifty minute useless chat.  We could call but then we can’t understand the representative because of the thick accent.

Life with The Word and Bird Man – Clyde Kessler

I may have to appear in court for the first time and I have been thinking of all the things that people can’t say on the stand. Hey, I have seen lots and of lots of Judge Judy! 

One word keeps coming to mind that we have all heard.  Hearsay.  I think of all the things I could say which would be labeled hearsay. 

Then I thought of some other things I shouldn’t say and decided I had come up with a new legal word!  I had to tell Clyde.  He hadn’t heard it before. 

There is Hearsay and then there is Stupidsay.  I better avoid both of them if at all possible!

Life with The Bird and Word Man – Clyde Kessler

Today as we were coming back from the park there was a tail gator about to kiss our bumper.  This car had very dark windows, so, as usual, I complained about dark windows.  I think it is my right as a motorist to know whether or not other drivers are awake when driving near me.

Also, as usual, Clyde had something to say about driving rights.  Much to my surprise we all have a constitutional right to carry a gun but a driver’s license is a privilege. He was born in August so when we got home he showed me the renewal form and sure enough, it does clearly say privilege. 

 

I guess we should all carry a gun but not all of us are allowed to drive.  I know a lot of people think that if we all had guns that would solve the mass shooting problem, but I think if we all have guns the terrorists will just start heaving bombs.

I am not going to carry a gun or a bomb but I would like car windows to be clear.
