Never say you don’t ever get leg cramps in the middle of the night anymore. That is a guarantee that you will have one if you are a senior.

They are so mild these days that they hardly hurt at all but I still have to get up and walk it out.

I had such a hard time getting back to sleep that I will be pretty quiet today.

Bowling tonight and I dropped off my taxes to my accountant yesterday! Yea!!!

Wow! Last night my son bowled a 212! I have never gotten past 160.

Both teams were watching him bowl.

At one point in the game he bowled five strikes in a row!

He was really in the zone last night!

Lot of scary stuff in the news and on the internet. Since I spend a lot of time promoting my artwork online I am constantly running into scary posts.

I like to remind myself of the saying, “The Sky is Falling”. People are always saying that in one way or another and I keep reminding myself of that.

Just hope it is still not true during these unusual times. You don’t need to be an Historian to see some alarming trends of our times.

We all have to hope everything will work out and the sky is not really falling.

Last night I was watching a fantastic opera on PBS. It was Agrippina and, of course, I thought of my Mom who passed away four years ago.

She was a great pianist but she did not like opera. She said it was a controlled yell.

Still don’t agree at all. Those singer’s voices were fantastic! They sounded like they were riding a beautiful wave of sound.

My mother liked to quote Shakespeare and often said, “To each his own”.

Opera is definitely one of the art forms I love that is not everyone’s cup of tea.

We have some people coming over this afternoon so I have been cleaning up. This house is still a work in progress due to my Art business and my husband’s illness but we should get to all those improvements soon.

Just wanted to straighten up and sometimes that is quite a chore. Glad it is done and I can get my computer work done.

Beautiful day! Hope we can get out and walk later. We had such a nice time at the lake. So peaceful.

I am covered up in work but the lake is calling so I am going to crawl out from under and get there for a while.

My hubby is coming, too! So glad he is improving! What a long recovery.

Our Deer Diner is still very popular and we just keep on losing flowers except for the butterfly bushes. So glad the deer don’t like them.

There was one gladiola left that they missed and today that is gone, too. We have written off this year but we will find something to put on the flowers that deer don’t like and is not a destructive poison.

Anyway, I love looking at the butterfly bushes.

All day long I have been trying to get to a post. One obstacle after the other. Don’t really have much to say today but I like to post every day and put up a different painting.

So the painting is below and I think I will just get to some work I need to do.

Yesterday we said good bye to a great couple that moved to California. That was hard.

They want us to visit. Maybe some day.

Lots of birds all over the yard right now which is great for Clyde. He is even getting out to the New River by himself and checking out all the wildlife.

There is no better therapy for my naturalist husband. One cardinal spent a lot of time bathing itself in a puddle on our patio. That was fun to watch.

The chatter out there is quite loud. It is nice to hear!

Well, it sure is a Monday!  I think I will run with Garfield.  My poor husband was up most of the night with either food poisoning or the flu.  We are not sure which one.  I am going to go get a flu shot today.  We usually wait a little longer so it will last but I am not taking any chances.  I got a lot of naps lasts night and so did Clyde.  Oh well.  I always think it is best to emphasize what is good about each day and to be thankful for all the great little things that keep me happy which is why it is time for a tea and toast with jam break! On the up side I did upload another painting demo!  Be sure to click on it and watch me paint an expressionistic swam this time. Cheers!
