At our last house we were covered up in birds due to Clyde’s naturalist efforts.

After his efforts here they are swarming all over the place. I don’t see them at other homes.

They have found The Bird Man and concentrate on feeding here. I may drive by the old home and see if there are still a lot of them there.

Yesterday I wanted to get some salmon for supper and Clyde was with me.

Since it was just one item he stayed in the car and, as always, checked out the birds.

Although it is rare, sometimes there isn’t any salmon. I mentioned that to Clyde and I thought he said fish grow back.

He didn’t hear my comment about the salmon and what he really said was Fish Crow is back.

Life with a Naturalist can be very interesting and confusing at times.

Sometimes I think I am attached to this computer and I want to do other things today.

I am in a book study so I want to start the reading of a great new book.

My mother was 96 when she passed away. How many people can say that their parents lived to be that old?

Every day I see obituaries of people younger than me passing on.

This is the anniversary of her passing and I wish we could talk on the phone about music.

She was a great pianist and I was flattered that she always wanted me to play when I visited her.

The other day Clyde asked me to give him the remote to see if there was anything on TV that he was remotely interested in. Maybe that is why it is called a remote. Ha ha.

Like I said to my Mom when she said her two favorite buttons were the mute button and the off button- well, you must like the on button.

Anyway, there are a lot of TV programs I am not interested in but over the years there have been ones I thought were great. I thought that before we had to get Cable so we could continue to see PBS.

Anyway, we are considering upping our plan so we can get Animal Planet and a few other channels that I know would be more than remotely interesting to Clyde.

That mean muscle in my back seems to have completely calmed down but I am being careful.

I know I have said this before but it bears repeating. I wish there was a device that we could attach to our body that goes off when we are doing too much.

One of my favorite British series is Black Adder, a great comedy! In one of the episodes set around the time of George III the first dictionary is accidentally burned and Black Adder is trying to recreate it.

I don’t remember it exactly but I think at one point Black Adder says he is not as stupid as he looks. Might have been another character. But I do remember that his assistant says I am as stupid as I look as he gives him ridiculous word definitions. His definition for sea is a great big wobbly thing with mermaids.

Anyway, yesterday Clyde and I set up my exhaust fan in my studio. The one I had in my other studio didn’t work here so I bought a reverse air fan that sits in the window.

After a few dumb moves we got it in there and working fine which proves we are not as stupid as we look. LOL!
