I am very pleased with my latest Heart interpretation painting! This time I put the memory of a person that one may be thinking of or lost, etc. The face I put in the heart is ghost like and the marks around the heart emanate her presence.

Life with The Bird and Word Man – Clyde Kessler
I am still cleaning out the mess in our house and now that I am in the computer room with all Clyde’s books and documents the progress is very slow. I pile the stuff up on the living room couch and he goes through it bit by bit when he gets a chance. So much to go through!
Housework truly is an impossible task, especially when I have so much to do on the computer. Sometimes I think I just need a bulldozer. Of course a match would really finish the job but then I would have to take everything outside so we would still have a house to live in. That is way too much work. Back to the bulldozer idea!

I fight with my computer all the time. I have mentioned many times that it hates me but I am determined to get things done in spite of this helpful but irritating machine.
I now have artwork on the popular site Wanelo. I have made a number of mistakes in my listings so I use the trash button to eliminate them. They are not on my page but if I put my name in the search they are still there. In the help section that question is not there. I guess I will have to contact them. Hope I can figure it out on my own.
Regardless, I am working real hard so I can get to the lake this afternoon! That will put a smile on my face!

I am amazed at the number of phobias that are listed on the internet. Since it is the internet I can’t be sure they are true but they are there. Fear of sitting and fear of mirrors are the two that fascinate me the most. They have fancy names but I don’t want to look them up right now.
Anyway, Clyde and I were discussing them on our walk yesterday and he came up with a great one. Smackaphobia- fear of being smacked by someone. That definitely should be added to the list!

I am very excited about my latest Kendall Expression painting! I hope to have it in my portfolio in a few days. These paintings are getting more and more intense and the color modulation in acrylic are bursting on to the canvas! I am so glad I started this series and will be doing a number of them before I get back to more mountain vistas!
Here is my latest Suggestion painting! I am real pleased with the pensive look.

Yesterday we had a great time visiting relatives! It is so good to get together and yak! One of my favorite things about the Word Man is he is a great conversationalist and the most knowledgeable person I have ever known.
We were having a great time yakking away when I saw more relatives coming up the driveway. This relative was sitting on the rim of the back of a truck while his son drove and the other kids were either inside or in the truck bed with him.
I was kind of surprised that he would ride that way. I would be afraid of falling off if the truck hit a bump. This guy has a sense of humor much like Clydes. His response was people are getting so cautious about everything that one of these days we will have to wear a helmet when we brush our teeth.
Yesterday I started a new series of paintings that I am going to work on at the same time as my new Blue Ridge paintings. The series is called Suggestions. These are paintings that are done by letting images appear in an abstract surface. The first one suggested an eye and cheek bone so I went with a face. Looking forward to the next one!
