I wrote down three things I needed to do yesterday and didn’t do a single one of them. I remember years ago hearing my Dad say he had so many things on his mind. I now understand what he was talking about.
So much to do and so little time. Maybe I can get those three things done today in addition to the stuff I tackle every day. I don’t want the list to keep growing.
I have decided to take a break from my Skyline Series because I have a great idea for a new Kendall Expressions painting. Not sure which medium I will use but it will be a 20″ x 16″ one. In spite of all my chores I will get the preparations going today!

Clyde finally said something about the upcoming Presidential election that I can print! He is not happy about how the preliminaries are going and he said if it comes down to two he really cannot support he is tempted to write in Scooby Doo!
I know the Bird Man is glad the weather will be warmer this week-end. Not that the weather stops him. It just stops the car so he can’t get to his favorite sites. Roads are fine and the Bird Man marches on.
I asked him today how many species of birds he has seen. He wasn’t sure but he thinks the number is around 400. That is pretty good for a bird watcher that will not go to any place where the wildlife is waiting for him with a knife and fork as soon as he gets off the bus.
No Africa for him!
Here’s a bird he has never seen and unlikely to ever see!
I am not much of a cook and we have a lot of restrictions so it is difficult to come up with something we all can eat but today I am going to take the time to cook a pot roast! I have a great recipe that doesn’t have any ingredients that are off out lists.
I love to eat and we have a saying in our family that a lot of people misunderstand. After a great meal one of us asks if we are fat and happy! The word fat is just used to mean so full we feel bigger, not really fatter. Anyway, I intend to be fat and happy later on today.

The other day I posted on Facebook that I had received a very nasty message which I accidentally marked as spam and then it disappeared. I wanted to report this vulgar message so I was sorry I hit the spam button.
A number of Facebook friends posted supportive comments and I am grateful. It is great to be connected with friends on the internet! They are a big help!

I did film another Youtube and put the raw version on Facebook. I am editing it now and will put it here when that is done. I got away today to do a little swimming! That was great. Indoor pools are a lot of fun. I did laps while I watched a swimming class of screaming elementary students. I think the pool is their idea of a great class room!
Smith Mountain Lake Original 16″ x20″ Acrylic Painting $670
I am determined to film another Youtube today. I still can’t figure out my Star software so I won’t be making any Demo videos until I can get some help. Hope to get that going soon but I did manage to complete my third Skyline Beauty painting! I especially like the yellow accents on this one so I entitled it Roanoke Sparkle.
Roanoke Sparkle Original 12″ x 9″ Acrylic Painting $236
Because I am so “focused” as a lot of people call artists, I am not always up on the latest slang. I love word play and like to see these new sayings. One I have never understood is ,”Put on your big girl pants”. It is a cute saying but how are pants going to help anything?
I asked Clyde about the saying and he said, what I thought he would say, that the pants are a symbol of maturity. You put on your big girl pants so you can be tough.
Okay, that is what I thought it meant, but then why did someone post this? Put on your big girl pants and if that doesn’t work, put on your granny pants. I really don’t think granny pants would be tougher. Although the granny on Beverly Hillbillies really could kick up a storm! So maybe pants do make a difference! LOL
