My neck is just about well. Still can’t turn to the left without pain but it isn’t bad. Excited about starting a new Skyline Painting today! Still working on Charlotte, NC and then I think I will paint Richmond. Working my way out from beautiful Southwest Virginia.
Bowling starts tonight! Yea!!!!
Dream Horse Original 16″ x20″ Acrylic Painting $670
I finally posted my new video on my latest shore painting and some more heart paintings from my Whimsy series. So much to do today. I wonder how many times I have posted that last sentence on WordPress. I am going around in circles with my artwork, housework, and much needed exercise. Well, time to get to the store and the Rec center. Griping about the lack of time in the day certainly doesn’t add more hours. Cheers!
Silver Lining at Pawleys Island Original 30″ x 22″ Acrylic Painting $1350
Please click on my Youtube! Yesterday I filmed a new Youtube and I started editing it yesterday. I guess there must be a lot of people working on Youtube today because it still isn’t finished with the last update! I hope there isn’t some kind of problem. If I get some sort of site malfunction notice, I will not be happy.
Anyway, I hope to have it ready tomorrow. Very pleased with my latest ocean painting but it isn’t real far along. We’ll see what happens with the different layers. Here is the first.
Please click on my Youtube! Hope to have a new one tomorrow!I am real excited about my new large ocean painting that I am basing on a lot of memories. I spent a lot of time at the beach and on the Chesapeake Bay in my early years and I have a lot of beautiful pictures in my head.
This painting combines several of them and I will present it in layers for print sales and then the final will be available for purchase and prints! Time to get in the studio!
Boats on The Chesapeake Bay Original Water color Painting has been Sold
I had an old cell phone that was good enough for me for a very long time. People hardly ever contact me by phone for artwork. They send an email.
No internet, phone, etc.
I finally updated by phone to an Android that has been driving me crazy. I finally have it working right after I had to get a replacement. The first one was really messed up. My brother with a doctorate in Computer Science had a hard time setting his up.
Anyway, when I swipe an icon there is a water sound. I told Clyde that I think it sounds like water because it knows it may end up at the bottom of a lake some day. I am tempted at times to send it there.
Love my Line Dance Class! We are practicing for Christmas performances right now! We have a great time performing for clubs and Retirement Homes this time of the year. The audiences are always fun and I think we are terrific dancers! I need to go find a green sweater. We are also working on our clothes. This year we are thinking of wearing both red and green. Cheers!
I just realized that I forgot to change the link for the November Special Promotion which is Smith Mountain Lake. Sorry if you have been clicking on the link under the painting and getting last month’s Special which was Cascades in Giles County.

Life with The Bird and Word Man – Clyde Kessler
Clyde and I do not like to fly. I avoid it as much as possible but I am glad I crossed the Atlantic three times to Europe. Great trips! So glad there are movies to watch to take my mind off all that water below. I know airplanes are safer than cars but you can’t pull over and check under the hood in an airplane.
Anyway, the other day we were discussing credit cards. We don’t like them either and have only one that is not used much. I have to laugh at frequent flyer options. Clyde’s comment was, “Frequent flyer miles? How about frequent bomb shelter use?” He would use one for that option. LOL!
You really have to love painting to put up with the aggravation. Sometimes it is so difficult and then I remember that I don’t let them drive me nuts and just keep going. My portrait of my husband is bugging me big time and I may have to alter the whole thing. I am not going to scrap it but it does have some problems that must be worked out.
I can’t explain most of what is bothering me but another artist would understand. I need to get to the end and put it away. It is amazing how most of my paintings improve greatly with age. They are just like people that you love. No matter how old they get, they still look great!
