  1. I am thrilled you found me. I grew up in Stauton, just up or is it down ? RT 81. There are a couple of posts from Charlottesville, too. Your work is lovely. I hope you will return again soon to my blog and find some interesting posts. Thank you for the follow and I will enjoy your work as well! Best. . . . Anne

I always say I live in New York, but am FROM Virginia. You will understand that , I think!

  2. Hi. Thanks for following Storyteller. I’m not sure how you found me, but my photographic career started in Radford many years ago when I worked for The New River Newspapers. Knowing that you live in Radford means that I just have to follow you. πŸ™‚ — Ray

  4. Thank you so much for the follow Kendall, having just read your bio I am very honoured to have you judge my wee blog as good enough to follow. That is amazing, so thank you and welcome aboard. I am going to have to cut this shot as I am so tempted to see the rest of your blog, having landed here first. Have a great weekend, MM πŸ€

  5. I love that last line: ” I want to cover the world with my art!” Me, too! You with your art, me with my photos. That is definitely a goal to work towards!

    • You are welcome! So sorry to be so slow to respond. I thought I had already replied to this message but according to my Comments section, it was not answered. Thanks for the great compliment on my art and have a great day!

  6. Nice to be in contact. Somehow you chanced on the blog where I write about photography. If you browsed any of my posts you probably noticed photography is the only subject that ever appears.
I am pleased to know about your site and intend to spend some time viewing, reading and getting to know you.

  7. Thanks for following Benzeknees! My great-grandfather was an artist & I have 2 of his water colors hanging in my hall. I am the only one in my family to still have some of his artwork, so I feel like the keeper of the history sometimes.

  8. Hi there Kendall,
Thank you for taking the time to stop by and check out my little corner of the blogosphere and the follow, your support is greatly appreciated. Looking forward to seeing more from you πŸ™‚

    Have a great day,

  9. Hello Kendall – thank you so much for finding me and following Beauty Along the Road. I am looking forward to taking a look at your art here and I noticed that we are virtually neighbors….Radford is in SW VA, isn’t it? I am in the Western Highlands of VA.

  10. Kendall,

I attended a small boy’s school in Orange, VA, and later attended VA Tech, in your back yard. Remember diving into Claytor Lake from a rather high cliff on an outing my fraternity took there.

Many a Friday/Saturday night zipping down the backroads from Blacksburg to Radford College to beat the Cinderella deadline.

Your work measures up to your recognitions, which are impressive.

Thank you for visiting my online writing studio, and for opting to follow my work.

Is oil your only medium? Pastels, perhaps?

  11. I think I could go through your blog and ‘like’ many of your paintings. Gorgeous. I love the way you capture light.
Thank you for following our blog. I hope you enjoy the stories of our journey, both inner and outer. Cheers, Alison

  12. Thank you for following WordBowlbyMsCharlieS.com (hope to see a word from you!) and thank you for introducing me to you and your marvelous work. What quality of light you capture! I look forward to seeing more!

  13. Kendall!
Thanks for stopping by my neck of the woods!! I love your work and will be looking at all the pictures!! I love your use of color, scenes, flowers, birds…that tiger!! Wonderful stuff!! And the MindyProject thing…very cool!!

  14. Love the art work. You really capture the essence of the scene before you as opposed to the details. Personally I love that in a painting.
