Well, we did dodge the virus! Yea! Only two of the wedding guests contracted Covid and they are feeling better.

My Mother-in-law passed away Saturday morning from Covid. She was such a sweet lady and we will miss her very much. I wish she had been vaccinated but it was her choice not to get the shot.

She was isolated and did not leave the house but a guest came by and coughed all over everything. She thinks that was how she got the disease. I wish everyone would wear a mask. Anyone could have Covid and not know it.

One of my husband’s friends had Covid but did not have any symptoms. It is a good thing he was tested for it so he did not spread it to others.

We had so many great family gatherings at her house and she was one of, if not, the most gracious and diplomatic people I have ever known. Nannie-Lou Pendleton Kessler was a great lady.

My son was my husband’s parents first grand child and he loved his grand parents very much. I have included some of my favorite paintings of him.
