I am real excited to be back to my Suggestions Series! It is great to just react to the paint and see if any recognizable forms show up. Life with The Word and Bird Man – Clyde Kessler
Clyde is still having a lot of trouble with his hip so it is off to the doctor next week. I hope he can get some help. I am so glad he is cutting back on sugar since he could stand to lose a few pounds. There are a lot of fattening things I avoid because I know I could easily put on twenty or thirty pounds if I ate them.
Clyde laughs at the thought that I could get fat. He says if a calorie shows up I beat it over the head with a brick. Ha ha. Calorie counting has kept the weight off me my entire adult life.
If every one ate a balanced diet, exercised and counted calories we would not have an obesity problem in this country. My sermon for the day. No one listens to me, but it is true.

Kendall Kessler Art 
My hips (knees, ankles, elbows, wrists etc too, but who’s counting! 😊) are bad from a connective tissue condition. Surgeon says hips will last longer if you lose weight and keep it off. I lost 33 pounds and have delayed a hip replacement by five or more years and my pain has gone down too. Tell Clyde I feel for him. It is hard but it can be done.
I love your suggestion painting. Is this a starting point for a bigger work?

Thank you so much for your support! That is great that you lost all that weight! Clyde is not that much overweight but he could stand to lose about 10 pounds. I hope his pain and yours will decrease! Also, thanks for the great compliment on my latest Suggestion painting! These are paintings that I do by letting colors fly and then see if there is something recognizable in the work. Then I bring those forms out. They are all quite small but prints can be made from them up to around 30″ x 40″. I do take commissions and would consider making larger ones for people that would prefer an original. Here is the link to the gallery so you can see more. Thank you so much! I have pretty much decided to go with the second stage with a few tweaks that I need to get to. So much to do all the time!
