My leg is completely well after sort of falling off the stage at The Draper Mercantile and I am anxious to get to work on my latest oil painting of a marsh egret at Pawleys Island.  It is coming along.  Love oils!

Nothing like this beautiful medium that does not have to be put under glass.  The impasto surface is winding around in a delicate and expressive way that I work hard to get.  Hope to have it online soon!

Life with The Word and Bird Man – Clyde Kessler

Since I paint in oils I need a plastic bag at the end of a session to put the paper towels in that are covered in paint and mineral spirits.

Monday, Clyde was home when I was painting due to car problems and when I finished painting I asked him to get a plastic bag  for me so I wouldn’t get paint on the cabinet where they are located.

I told him I never plan ahead.

He said he was the evidence for that.

Ha ha.  Just get the bag.
