We just got back from a great beach trip and are pooped!  I love the shore and with the exception of some computer problems, it was all that I wanted in my yearly ocean fix!  The weather was perfect.  I swam in the ocean every day!  I don’t know about other artists but I definitely did not grow up.  I still want to splash around in the ocean like I did when I was a kid!

 

Oh, I forgot about the trip itself.  Too much traffic!  I think Sheldon Cooper of The Big Bang Theory is right.  Take the train!  We are looking into that possibility.  The interstate traffic gets worse every year.  I would love to take the train and then rent a car.  That mode of transportation is looking better and better!

  1. it took me 2 years to realize any beach i wanted to go to,you could not go by train…pokomoke , md, myrtle beach, virginia beach…..you can go to charleston & then drive 1 or 2 more hours to pawley’s…or you can go to the isle of palms from charleston, but i lived there, so a train would have been silly.

      • lol.. we should start a petition to build tracks next to the beach…i heard they had train here years ago.but i had 2 choices for myrtle : charleston or florence 2 hours by cab or 1 & 1/2 to myrtle..i was excited when i saw kingstree was a choice & then amtrak said no luggage..i had 6 suitcases…how do you travel with no luggage!
